The power of stories can inform, inspire and motivate us to greatness. Perhaps it is a story told at a family reunion or when you read in a book about a historical figure or a song we hear on the radio. In either case, we often learn about someone through their story. Stories to Songs connects us with folks right in our hometown or community. It also connects youth and community elders in a powerful multi-generational experience.
The goal of the Storie to Songs project is to chronicle the stories in communities in a way that builds community and the connections across generational lines that often get lost in our busy lives.
